  The customer service here is pathetic. We could have wandered around the store for hours without being aknowlaged by the staff; they would much rather talk to each other than any of their customers. In any other store someone comes up to you and asks how you're doing and if you need assistance multiple times when visiting their store, or at the very least, greet you at the doors. But there was nothing of the sort here. No-one nodded hello, asked if we needed help, or had any sort of involvement with ourselves or any other customer we saw. If you need something you have to seek someone out and ask them, and even at that point they are unenthusiastic and help the bare minimum to get the customer out of the store. This has been a persistent problem at Mitre 10 throughout our visits to the store; someone really needs to talk to the staff.

  Generally speaking, if I call - I am expecting you guys to answer the phone, rather than letting it ring out. You do this all the time - you've done it to me numerous times, numerous days! You never answer. All I want from you guys is customer service.

  Went into Mitre 10 Gympie on Easter Monday, and the staff were so rude and unhelpful, I walked out and went to Bunnings, just up the road. Bunnings staff were so friendly and helpful I got everything I needed and saved heaps. NEVER going back to Mitre 10.

  Posting on your internet listing 'hours might differ' next to your opening times for holidays like Easter Monday is not good enough and is inviting potential customers to go to the opposition. The internet is the sharp end of communications in modern times and you guys need to get with it or suffer the consequences in lost business.
